The University of Arizona Sports Medicine Fellowship
One Position - Available July 1, 2009
The Department of Emergency Medicine is proud to offer a one-year fellowship leading to board certification in Sports Medicine. The fellow will work with fellowship-trained Sports Medicine faculty in the care of injured athletes at the Pac-10 University of Arizona training facilities and the new Arizona Sports Medicine Institute. The fellow will also learn key academic skills as an attending physician and faculty member approximately 5 shifts/month. This will include bedside and didactic teaching of our excellent residents and medical students. Research opportunities are abundant and include sports concussion, ultrasound diagnostics, kinesiology, advanced training regimens, adolescent and geriatric sports medicine, etc.
