EMRA Residency Coordinator of the Year at the UA!

Congratulations to Donna Goldberg for being selected as the National Emergency Medicine Residents’ Association (EMRA) Residency Coordinator of the Year for 2008.  Donna received this honorary award in Washington, D.C., at the EMRA national meeting in May.

Six Scholarquest groups have submitted abstracts to the Western Region Research Forum of SAEM which will take place March 28-29, 2008 in Costa Mesa, CA:

Resident Research at Society for Academic Emergency Medicine National and Regional Meetings.  

Multiple resident research studies have been accepted this Spring.  As a result of the Scholar Quest resident research curriculum, 5 oral presentations were accepted at the Regional SAEM meeting and one project was accepted also at the National meeting.  Congratulations Residents!  We couldn’t be prouder!

The Arizona Heath Sciences Center held it's 27th annual faculty awards ceremony on November 2, 2006.  We are proud to announce that James Dahle, MD, class of 2006, received the Dean's List for Excellence in Teaching by a Houseofficer, presented by the 2007 class representatives.
