Educational Objective: The University of Arizona Emergency Medicine Training Program is designed to produce physician specialists in Emergency Medicine through in-depth training and education in all aspects of the specialty. The physicians will become experts in “core” emergency medicine. Additionally, they become exceptionally skilled at critical care, trauma resuscitation, pediatrics, toxicology, administration, and emergency medical services. The Program’s clinical and didactic curriculum is highly focused and intense.
The University of Arizona College of Medicine at the Arizona Health Sciences Center is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for Physicians.
The University of Arizona College of Medicine at the Arizona Health Sciences Center designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 1 credit hour in Category 1 credit toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
